HARRIETT ELIZABETH BROWNING
1925 - 2016


Harriett Elizabeth Johnson Browning, age 90, of Harrah, Oklahoma was born November 24, 1925, in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Arthur Chester and Dollie Mabel Fain Johnson.
She left this life on Friday, May 20, 2016, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Harriett worked at FAA and VA and retired from Tinker AFB where she was a mechanic.
She was a member of the Choctaw Church of the Nazarene.
Harriett enjoyed doing genealogy and her church activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray, son, Bob Browning and sister, Mary Hroch.
Survivors include three sons, Ed Marshall of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Don Browning of Little Axe, Oklahoma and Allen Browning of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; two daughters, Karen Heffley of Harrah, Oklahoma and Rhona Vanburskirk of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, sister, Martha Goodwin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, thirteen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren, numerous great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2016, at Smith-Parks Funeral Service, 2039 N. Tim Holt Dr., Harrah, Oklahoma.
Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Choctaw Church of the Nazarene, Choctaw, Oklahoma.
Interment will follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
