Sarah graduated from the Stillwater Beauty Academy and earned her license in 1968. She owned and operated Sarah's Beauty Salon until the age of 40 when she decided to make a major career change.
Sarah applied and was accepted to the Meridian Technology Center Practical Nursing program and graduated in 1983. She worked as an LPN until again she decided to return to school. Sarah graduated from Northern Oklahoma College with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 1989. She worked as an RN in area hospitals specializing in emergency care until her retirement in 2005.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Cora Brown; brother, Paul Brown and daughter in law, Debbie Bradley.
