MYRON BRAD BRADBURN
1926 - 2013


Myron "Brad" Bradburn was born on October 25, 1926, in Elwood Indiana, and departed this life on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at his home in Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 86.
Brad, the son of Clayson and Olive Waymire Bradburn, was a resident of Stroud.
He married Jean Gilliland on May 5, 1966 in San Diego, California.
Brad retired from the San Diego County Sheriff's Department following 30 years of service as a deputy. He was also a member of the IOOF and Arlington United Methodist Church.
His parents; brother, Darrell; and cousin/best friend, Denny Merrill, preceded Brad in death.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Jean Bradburn of the home; sons, Vinton L. Bradburn of San Diego, California, Clint E. Bradburn of Montrose, Colorado, Loren L. Bradburn of Troutman, North Carolina, daughter, Myra L. Glenn of Alpine, California, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as numerous friends.
Memorials in Brad's memory may be made to Arlington United Methodist Church, 356040 E. 1000 Road, Prague, OK 74864.
The Bradburn family will receive friends on Sunday, May 12, 2013, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Rev. JoeAnn Pritchett officiating.
Interment will follow at Kellerby Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Prague, Oklahoma.
