MARGUERITE BRACKSIECK
1920 - 2015


Marguerite "Marge" Bracksieck, 95, died on Friday, March 20, 2015 in Stillwater.
She was born at Macomb, Oklahoma on February 25, 1920, the daughter of J. B. and Binnie French White.
She graduated from high school at Davenport, Oklahoma and was married to Frank Bracksieck June 1, 1940 in Davenport.
They moved to Perkins in 1946 where her husband was employed by Texaco Oil Co. She worked for Duckwall Furniture and Montgomery Ward in Stillwater. In 1965 they moved to Hominy where she worked for twelve years in the Business office at Hominy City Hospital. They returned to Stillwater in 1977.
She was a long time member of First Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School Classes in the Children’s Department, as well as the Adult department. She also loved singing in the Church Choir.
In recent years she has volunteered at Karman Korners Resale Store, which she really enjoyed.
She is survived by son, Gary and wife, Shirley Bracksieck of Katy, Texas; grandson, Ronnie and wife Tricia Bracksieck of Wylie, Texas; granddaughter, Jeanetta and husband, Scott Barnett of Hewitt, Texas; and great granddaughters Jamey and Jordan Barnett of Hewitt.
Family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 24, at Strode Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, at Strode Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Davenport Cemetery, Davenport, Oklahoma.
Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
