THURMAN CLEO BOUNDS
1910 - 2000


Thurman Cleo Bounds died Friday, April 7, in Tryon. He was 89.
He was born August 14, 1910, in Pocohontas, Arkansas, the son of Jasper and Margaret Bounds.
He lived in the Tryon area all his life.
He was a member of the Tryon First Christian Church.
He worked in farming and construction.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Bounds of the home; son, Terry Bounds of Luther; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church of Tryon with the Rev. Charles Wheeler and the Rev. Don Campo officiating.
Burial will be at the Tryon Cemetery under the direction of the Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Chandler.
