MARY LOUISE BLEVINS
1923 - 2001


Graveside funeral services for Mary Louise Burget Blevins, 77, formerly of Guthrie, will be held on Monday, January 8, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Park Cemetery with Rev. Rick Blackwell officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
Mary was born on October 19, 1923 in Dewey, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 4, 2001 in Shreveport, Lousiaian at the age of 77 years.
Mary was the daughter of Edward Everett and Stella Hutchinson Burget. Mary received her doctorate of education from Oklahoma State University and taught for many years in the Oklahoma City and Guthrie school systems.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Blevins; three sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include one son, Al Blevins of Guthrie; two daughters, Lynnette Metts and Linda Liles, both of Shreveport, Lousiana; two brothers, Don Burget and Bill Burget, both of California; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
