HESTER BLAIR
1927 - 2015


Hester England Blair was born August 31, 1927 and departed this life on January 27, 2015, at the age of 87 years.
Hester was the daughter of Jake and Pearl Dickey England.
She married Thomas Blair on November 7, 1945, in Los Angeles, California.
Hester worked as a Department Store Manager for many years.
Her parents, two sons, and one sister preceded Hester in death.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Thomas of the home; two sons, Robert Blair of Chandler, Oklahoma; and James Blair of Moore Oklahoma; two sisters Maxine Bliss of Auburn, Washington; and Kathryn Tarpley of Stroud, Oklahoma; two brothers Bob England of Marble Falls, Texas; and Don Henry of Georgetown, Texas; fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 30, 2015, at the First Baptist Church, Davenport, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
