ANNABELLE BLACKWELL
1918 - 1997


Lifelong Lincoln County resident Annabelle Thompson Blackwell of Prague died Thursday at the age of 79.
She was born November 9, 1918, in Sparks to Oceola and Katherine Conklin Thompson.
She married Charles Edward Blackwell on December 11, 1937, and they owned and operated Prague Dry Cleaners for many years.
She also had worked at Prague National Bank and Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.
Mrs. Blackwell was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Jerry Warren, Checotah; daughter, Marie Click, Prague ; sister, Opal Johnson, St. David, Arizona; sisters-in-law, Marie Thompson, Prague; and Peggy Rollins of Purcell.
Preceding her in death were her husband in 1967; her parents; one son, Charles Blackwell Jr.; three brothers and two sisters.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Prague Cemetery with Tim Emmons officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Prague.
