She served on the building committee when the new sanctuary was built. She located all of the entry tile, delivered it back to Prague and donated it to the church. She helped attend to all of the details of the building project. She worked with the Senior High Youth of the church for several years and instrumental in raising money for a trip to Hawaii in 1975.
Janevieve was a member of the Federated Arts Club and the Prague Square Dance Club, serving as an officer in each club. Her favorite pastime was the outdoors. She loved growing flowers and vegetables which she shared with friends and neighbors.
Janevieve’s parents, both set of grandparents, all of her aunts and uncles, several cousins and stepdaughter, Jeri Sue Bishop, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Lloyd Bishop of the home; stepdaughter, Sabrina Hamric of Midwest City; sister-in-law, Louise Flowers and her husband, Joe, of Meeker; brothers-in-law, Ray Bishop and his wife, Deloris, of Edmond and Mildred White and Mel Haggard of Springfield, Missouri, other family and friends.
