NAOMI LEE BELL
1936 - 2014


Naomi Lee Bell was born August 1, 1936 in Tryon, Oklahoma to Mary Thresa Miller and Gus Onvy Pritchard.
She passed away Monday, July 7, 2014 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 77.
Naomi was a Christian and proud to be a homemaker. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She spent the past two years at Grace Living Center where she was known as Momma and Grandma Bell to all of the caregivers and their children.
Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Mary; sisters, Phyllis Morris, Hazel Smith; brother, Everett Pritchard; great-granddaughter, Anita Rashell Phillips.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Preston Bell of the home; five daughters, Karen and her husband Byron Bointy of Oklahoma City; Loretta and her husband Will Johnson of Stillwater; Marilyn Hunt of Cushing; Carolyn and her husband Ray Wade of Carney; Amelia and her husband Greg Evans of Carney; three sons, David and his wife Anita Bell of Edmond; Curtis and his wife Tina Bell of Grove; Bruce and his wife Patty Bell of Carney; twenty one grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Almeda and her husband Bill Lee of Perkins; Rosetta and her husband Clyde Nettles of Mesquite; Susie Marshall of Perkins; brothers, Gus and his wife Sharon Pritchard of Mesquite; Robert and his wife Polly Pritchard of Red Rock; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Carney with interment following in the Carney Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
