PATSY RUTH BARRETT
1929 - 2010


Patsy Ruth Vann Barrett was born on December 12, 1929 to Ernest and Dora Vann in Stroud, Oklahoma and passed away Friday June 17, 2010 in Stroud.
Patsy was an avid reader, fisherman, scrabble player, quilter and devoted mother who will be eternally missed.
She was married to Clarence Calvin Barrett on January 11, 1946 in Chandler.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Barrett; former husband, Clarence Barrett; brothers, Jack, Lester, Ernest and Richard Vann; and her sisters, Loreen Rayburn, Mary Taylor and Norma Lee Barrett.
She is survived by her children, Linda and Robert Thomas of Stroud; Patty Gragg of Stroud; Larry and Sharon Barrett of Luther; Carl Barrett of Jones; Dennis Barrett of Oklahoma City; Ernest and Teresa Barrett of Cushing; James and Michelle Barrett of Edmond and Russell and Joyce Barrett of Wellston; twenty nine grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 in the First Baptist Church of Davenport with interment following in the New Zion Cemetery of Davenport under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
