DARRELL DEAN BARRETT
1951 - 1998


Stroud resident Darrell Dean Barrett died Wednesday, August 19, in Oklahoma City at the age of 47.
He was born in Davenport on June 30, 1951, and was the son of Donnie Richards and Wanda Branum.
He married Patricia Pendergist and owned and operated a repossession company.
He was preceded in death by his father, one daughter and one brother.
Survivors include his mother, Wanda Branum, Wellston; five sons, Patrick Barrett, Stroud; Christopher Barrett, Grove; Joe, David and Jeff Henninger, all of Stroud; daughter, Stacie Painter, Italy; three brothers, Floyd and Russell Branum, of Las Vegas, Nevada; Billy Branum, Wellston; two sisters, Tracie Lenard, Las Vegas; Connie Knight, Wellston, and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Davenport with the Rev. Mike Mitchell officiating.
Burial will be in New Zion Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Stroud.
