MILDRED LORENE BALLEW
1928 - 2006


Carney, Oklahoma resident, Mildred Lorene Robbins Ballew, was born on July 18, 1928, in Coleman, Oklahoma, and departed this life on July 5, 2006, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years.
Mildred was the daughter of Jodie and Etta Moorehead Robbins.
She owned an operated the Ballew Corner Café for many years in Carney, Oklahoma.
Mildred married Ray F. Claunch in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1962; she then married Harold F. Ballew in 1963 then he preceded her in death in 1983.
Her parents, two husbands, three brothers and four sisters also preceded Mildred in death.
Survivors include one son, Frank Claunch of Tuttle, Oklahoma; five daughters, Sharon Dugger of Seminole, Oklahoma, Vonda Speaks of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mitzi Wilson of Chandler, Oklahoma, Berta Ingram of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Lori Stapp of Chandler, Oklahoma; two brothers, Bill Robbins of Amarillo, Texas and James Robbins of Dumas, Texas; two sisters, Ann Seba of Lubbock, Texas and Nona Miller of Snowflake, Arizona; fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and other relatives and many friends.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Chandler.
Burial will follow at the Carney Cemetery in Carney with the Rev. Lonnie Donaldson officiating.
Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler is directing arrangements.
