JAMES CLAY BAKER
1913 - 2003


James Clay Baker, a long-time Stroud, Oklahoma, resident was born on December 28, 1913 in Stroud, and departed this life on October 8, 2003, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 89.
James was the son of John and Martha Delila Ricks Baker.
He married Jonnie L. Cox in Depew, Oklahoma, on June 13, 1941.
He worked as an electrician, was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stroud and a 32nd Degree Mason.
His parents, wife, four brothers, and two sisters preceded James in death.
One son and daughter-in-law, Frankie and Judith Hampton Ward, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive James.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Stroud, Oklahoma, with Rev. Joe Mullencupp officiating.
Burial will follow at the Stroud Cemetery in Stroud, Oklahoma.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
