ESSIE REE ARGROW JR.
1941 - 2010


Funeral services were held for Essie Ree Argrow Jr. of Stroud on Saturday, October 2, 2010, at C. B. Wright Auditorium in Stroud with the Rev. L. C. Jacobs officiating.
Burial followed at Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Stroud.
Essie was born September 9, 1941 in Stroud to Essie Ree Sr. and Ella B. Todd Argrow. He died Monday, September 27, 2010, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years.
A graduate of Stroud High School, he retired from Stericycle Inc., in Stroud.
He was a member of Jesus First Baptist Church in Stroud.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one daughter, Sheena Godwin.
Survivors include four sons, Brian Argrow and wife, Guendolyn of Longmont, Colorado, John Argrow and wife Barbara of Boulder, Colorado, Greg Argrow and Jeff Argrow, both of Stroud and one daughter, Rachel Argrow Byrd and husband James of Tampa, Florida.
He is also survived by one brother, Herbert Argrow of San Diego, California, fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Stroud Food Pantry, 211 S. Third Ave., Stroud, Oklahoma 74079.
