CHRISTOPHER ARGROW

26 Nov 1986 - 25 Jan 2017

Christopher Shane Argrow was born November 26, 1986 to Greg Argrow and Lynn Carter in Stroud, Oklahoma. Chris attended Stroud Public Schools, graduating in 2005. During his senior year, he was chosen by the student body and faculty for his many accomplishments and academics, positive attitude and enthusiasm. Just a few of his high school accomplishments were senior class President, Mister SHS and being on the 2002 Class 3A State Championship Basketball team.

Chris attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO in Miami, Oklahoma on a football scholarship). He also attended Langston University. Chris was employed by the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority in Stroud for nearly 10 years. He loved his job and his work family.

Chris entered this world barely weighing six pounds, that’s hard to believe by looking at him now. Along with his big physique he also had a big heart. He was playful, loud and full of fun, a true triple threat. Another side of Chris was his compassion and empathy for others. Chris loved coaching kids, refereeing and umpiring. He worked hard on the job but his most important job in life was being Kambree’s daddy.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Jesus First Baptist Church, Stroud, Ok. Chris went home to be with the Lord, January 25, 2017 surrounded by his friends and those who loved and cared about him.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Essie Argrow; grandmother, Patricia Riley Martin; and uncle, Tony Davis.

Left to cherish his loving memory, daughter, Kambree NaSha Argrow of Stroud; mother, Lynn Carter of Stroud; father, Greg Argrow of Stroud; grandmother, Helen Woody of Stroud; grandfather, Delbert Carter of Oklahoma City; sister and niece, Salonne and Vishion Carter of Irving, Texas; cousin, Xavier Riley that was more like a brother of Oklahoma City; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends
