MARJORIE ANN ANDERSON
1947 - 2014


Marjorie Ann Anderson, a longtime Perkins resident, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital at the age of 67.
Margie was born on April 4, 1947 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to the late Ben and Marjorie {Macom} Butler.
She attended school at Eufaula High School and worked as the Bakery supervisor for Oklahoma State University Campus.
Margie loved being outdoors, she enjoyed many different activities like camping and fishing. She also enjoyed flowers of all kinds.
Margie enjoyed her night out once a month with the girls, and after the age of fifty she entered into her love of tattoos. Margie was one who loved to ride her Harley Davidson motorcycle as much as she could; the Stillwater paper had a write up on her and her motorcycle, but most of all she loved her grandchildren, they were the joy of her life and she loved them dearly.
Margie is survived by her husband Steven Anderson of 17 years; four daughters: Melanie Pegg and husband Mike of Perkins; Deanna Shatswell and Marsha Gebert of Stillwater; Dawn Kilmer and husband Tim of Perry; Stefanie Ruoff and husband Charles of Morrison; three brothers: Rick Butler of Stillwater; Frankie Butler of Stillwater; and Rusty Butler of Tryon; four sisters: Cathy Day and husband George of Yale; Missie Tuley and husband Ron of Tryon; Belinda Fowler and husband Marty of Meeker; Becky Hale of Meeker; two sister in-laws: Tena Butler and Lee Ann Butler; ten grandchildren: Amber Lightfoot, Raylyn Shatswell, Jesse Shelton, Braydyn Kilmer, Joshua Kilmer, Kassidy Chappell, Hailey Chappell, Lara Hale, Katie Hale Mallory Butler; two great grandchildren: Jonni Rayann Lightfoot, and Ethan Hale; and numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother in-law Alma Anderson, five brothers: Benny Butler, Donald Butler, Chuck Butler, Bill Butler, and Baby Butler; three sisters: Joanie McVey, Carolyn Savory and Robin Miller.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Christian Union Church in Tryon, Oklahoma.
Gary Hawkins will officiate. Interment will follow at Tryon Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, Oklahoma.
