BRUCE OLEN ANDERSON
1931 - 2011


Bruce Olen Anderson, age 80, of Harrah, Oklahoma was born on February 13, 1931, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He was the son of Keith Alexander and Opal Belle Ives Anderson.
He left this life on Sunday, May 8, 2011, in Norman, Oklahoma.
Bruce proudly served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He married Mary Ann Dolezal on August 25, 1951, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Bruce received an electrical engineering degree from Oklahoma A&M/OSU.
He worked for the Federal Civil Service as an electrical engineer.
He was a member of Hillside Baptist Church, McLoud, Oklahoma.
He enjoyed electronics, astronomy and reading.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, John Edward Anderson and Steven Olen Anderson; one daughter, Cheryl Ann Anderson; one brother, Paul; and one sister, Linda Parsons.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Anderson of Harrah; three sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin S. Anderson of Harrah; Philip M. Anderson of Norman; Steven J. and Lisa Anderson of New Jersey; two brothers, David Anderson and Rex Anderson; and many other relatives and friends.
Services under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, Oklahoma.
