DALE LEE ALSIP
1938 - 2008


Dale Lee Alsip, Webbers Falls, Oklahoma, resident formerly of Chandler, departed this life on Monday, September 22, 2008, in Tulsa, at the age of 70 years. 
Dale was born on July 27, 1938 in Chandler. He was the son of Jesse Marion and Zelda Saulsberry Alsip.
He graduated from Chandler High School in 1956.
Dale married Sheridan Hamilton of Oklahoma City, on June 25, 1959.  They established their home in Chandler, then moved to Duncan, then later relocated to Webbers Falls to fish and relax.
Dale was a member of Oklahoma National Guard.
He was part owner/operator of A&S Body Shop of Chandler in 1967 and was employed by J.C. Hamilton Company in Oklahoma City, where he worked as a Sales Manager. He ended his working years by retiring from National American Insurance Company in Chandler where he made many friends.
His parents and one son preceded Dale in death.
Survivors include his wife, Sheridan of the home, daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Fredrick Murphy of Webbers Falls, sister, Joan Birkes of Chandler, brothers, Tom Alsip of Oklahoma City and Danny Alsip of Chandler, brother and best friend, David Alsip of Chandler, grandchildren, Shanna and Dustin, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and special nephew, Stephen Neu of Stroud who was like a son to Dale, and many other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, with Brother Robert Wonn and Rev. Don Landry officiating.
Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
