NEEDA PEARL ALLEY
1910 - 1998


Stroud resident Needa Pearl Barnett Alley died Saturday in Stroud. She was 88.
Needa was born June 19, 1910, in Asher to Charley and May Della Lassiter Barnett.
She married Jess Scott Alley on February 12, 1928, in Depew.
She was a retired cook and nurse's aide. She had worked at the Stroud Hospital, Miliham Clinic and the Stroud Health Care. She owned and operated Coney Island in Stroud.
She was also a member of the Assembly of God Church in Stroud.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Max and Goldie Alley of Broken Arrow, daughters and sons-in-law, Martha Jane and Leonard Cushing of Stroud, Marilyn Pearl and Terry Brown of Mustang, daughters, Mary Kathryn Anderson of Ada and Mollie Sue Pryor of Stroud, sisters, Reba Keeling of Keifer, Doris Davis of Ponca City, Margie Hodge of Slick, seventeen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren. and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Scott Alley on October 10, 1948, her parents, two brothers and her son, Martin Scott Alley, on April 11, 1961.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Assembly of God Church, Stroud, with the Revs. Max Alley, Don Wilburn and Bucky Alley officiating.
Burial will follow at the Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Stroud.
