MARY LOU ALLEN
1943 - 2013


Mary Lou Jones Allen, Chandler, Oklahoma resident was born on August 18, 1943 in Maud, Oklahoma, and departed this life on February 10, 2013, in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 69 years.
Mary Lou was the daughter of Ben and Flora Self Jones. She graduated in 1961, from Davenport High School, Davenport, Oklahoma.
Mary Lou married Johnny Edwards in Davenport, on May 26, 1961. She later married W. C. Allen in Edmond, Oklahoma, on June 25, 1994.
Mary Lou worked as a administrative assistant at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond for many years and was a member of Waterloo Baptist Church in Edmond.
Her parents, two husbands, two brothers and three sisters preceded Mary Lou in death.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Kari Edwards of Williamston, Michigan, one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Greg Huffman of Downers Grove, Illinois, one brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Linda Jones of Kingston, Oklahoma, and one sister, Nelda Matthews of Chandler, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Chandler, with Brian Jones, Minister officiating.
Burial will follow at Davenport Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
