JOYCE FAY ADKISSON
1944 - 2013


Joyce Fay Lane Adkisson, life-long resident of Agra, Oklahoma, was born on March 15, 1944, in Agra, and departed this life at her home in Agra on July 27, 2013, at the age of 69 years.
Joyce was the daughter of Leo and Jenice Edna Conder Lane.
She married Ronald Adkisson on April 25, 1969, in Odessa, Texas.
Joyce was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Agra and was a homemaker.
Her parents, one son, Johnny Adkisson, two brothers and one sister, preceded Joyce in death.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald of the home, one daughter, Sabrina Ann Adkisson of the home, one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Jennifer Adkisson of Cushing, Oklahoma, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Terry and Karen Lane of Agra, Oklahoma, Jimmy and Lois Lane of Cushing, Oklahoma, two sisters and brother-in-law, Shelia and Regie Smith of Seminole, Oklahoma, Shirley Thorpe of Moore, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, Anthony, Joannie and Sherry, extended family, Jerry Woodall and Kimberly McKinzie of Cushing, Oklahoma as well as numerous friends.
Special thanks and appreciation to: Terry and Karen Lane, Jerry Woodall and Kimberly McKinzie for all the support, thought, and love for Joyce throughout her sickness. They are truly loved and appreciated by Joyce, Ron and Sabrina.
Graveside service will be held at the Osage Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 with Rev. Roger Shaw officiating.
Service are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
