LOIS N. ACUFF
1915 - 2011


Lois N. Grider Acuff was born on October 26, 1915 in Byars, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 95.
Lois, the daughter of Charles M. and Gertrude Pierce Grider, was a resident of Meeker.
She married Darrell Cannon Acuff on December 23, 1958. He preceded her in death on April 20, 2002.
Lois was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Her parents, one infant daughter, three sons, two brothers and four sisters also preceded Lois in death.
Survivors include daughters, Dorothy Demo of Meeker and Lillian Wall of Byars; sisters, Floye Boutwell of Bethany and Eula C. Wilcox of Byars; sixteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Byars Cemetery in Byars, Oklahoma with Rev. Starland Davis officiating.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
