Pamela Jean Helfenbein (Pam) joined her Heavenly Father on February 14, 2020. She was born in Lawton, OK on September 12, 1958 to Lt. Col. Marin Willis Green and Cleola (Geis) Green. She was the fifth of six children.

Pam moved to Carney, OK in 1973 with her mother, father and younger sister where she excelled in high school academically as well as in basketball. She also was on the basketball team at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond for the year she went to college.

She began dating her husband Paul Helfenbein, who is also from Carney, in 1978 and they married later that year. After their marriage, they moved to the Tulsa area.

Pam was active in church for most of her life. She and Paul began attending Collinsville Baptist Tabernacle in 1988, when they moved to Collinsville, OK. She was a foster mom to many foster children over the course of several years.

Pam became a bank teller in the mid 90s for the Bank of Oklahoma. After 12 years, she had to leave the banking world due to a disability. She loved and appreciated both of her bank and church families very much.

Her family was very important to her. She always made an effort to call and talk to her siblings. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandma.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Helfenbein, her son and his wife, Wesley and Jennifer Helfenbein, her three grandchildren, Abigail, AlizaMae and Emilee Helfenbein, her sisters, Kay Green, Barbara Shields, Debra Chambers, Shirley Green, her brother Dale Green, her nephew, Alex Green and her great nephew, Lance Reisetter.

She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, her niece Kimberly Reisetter and nephew Jay Shields.
