This cemetery should maybe be called/referred to as the Baker Cemetery, as it was in the former town of Baker, most of the population moved to Avery when the train was run through there in the early 1900's. Name of cemetery provided by: Nancy Robertson Schallner.
|
Directions to the cemetery: From Stroud, take Highway 99 north 6 miles, turn west onto Parkland Rd. {0810 Rd.} and go 4 1/4 miles. The cemetery is located on the north side of the road in a grove of mostly cedar trees. It has about 50 yds of fence that consists of pig wire but it is just a mesh fence on the north side of the road. It was rather broken down then and the weeds and grass have probably grown up around it by now.
If you have family buried in this cemetery and would like to add their information,
an obit, tombstone photo, funeral home record or memorial card to this website,
please send Sherry Springer an e-mail.
