MARVIN OSMAN
1963 - 2016


Marvin "Marwan" Osman, 53, passed from this life on Friday, August 12, 2016 in Tulsa surrounded by family. Marvin was born on April 30, 1963 to Jemila Berudi and Abdul-Malek Osman in Hama, Syria.
He attended school in Hama and later received his student visa to the United States. He studied at Vermont before moving to Tulsa to be closer to family.
In 1991, Marvin received his US citizenship. He worked at many jobs throughout his life, but always worked in upper management. He worked for Cavalry Portfolio Services for 15 years in the collections department.
In 1997, Marvin married Susanne and had four children, Zachary, Samantha, Sarah and Michael. He loved spending every minute with his kids and all of their activities. He worked hard to make sure they could live the good life.
Marvin had many hobbies, but he loved to read novels, popular science and keeping up with current politics.
Marvin was a caring and loving father, son, and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Marvin is survived by his mother, Jemila Berudi; four children, Zachary Osman, Samantha Osman, Sarah Osman and Michael Osman; one brother, Ramy Osman; three sisters, Hala Osman, Aida Osman and Rima Osman. Marvin is also survived by his ex-wife, Suzanne Allen, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palmer Marler Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Allen Family Cemetery, with Pastor Judy Deere officiating.
