Mrs. Carolyn Louise Blackburn, 50, of Elgin, OK., formerly of Talihina, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, December 18th, 2007 at Lawton, Oklahoma . 

Mrs. Blackburn was born in Modesto, California on January 8, 1957, the daughter of the late Callie and Alma (Craig) Edwards. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Talihina, Oklahoma. She worked for several years for Kibois Community Action in Talihina, she enjoyed driving the bus and the head-start children.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Blackburn, of Elgin, Oklahoma; two sons and daughters-in-law; Kelly and Ashley Gravitt of Talihina; Willie and Shannon Gravitt of Stillwater, Oklahoma one brother and sister-in-law; Larry Edwards and Carolyn of Panama, Oklahoma. mother and father-in-law; Willa and Jim Caudill of Elgin, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Trudie and Robert Glass of Elgin, Oklahoma.; three grandchildren; Wayne Gravitt, Austin Gravitt and Aubry Gravitt; nieces and nephews; Callie Edwards, Larry Edwards, Jr., Chrystal Edwards, Justin Edwards, Heather Glass, Holly Glass and Hanna Glass; foster nieces; Samantha and Terra Benifield.

Religious Service at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Talihina, Oklahoma. at 2 P.M. on Saturday, December 22nd, with Rusty Shaw officiating.

Interment will follow at the Whitesboro Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
