Mr. Haskell Loyd Baugh, 78, of Talihina. passed away Friday, November 20th, 2009 at his residence. 

Haskell was born in Albion, Oklahoma on May 29, 1931, the son of the late Floyd Franklin and Augusta Nova (Tyree) Baugh. 

He retired from LeFlore County Sheriff's Department, where he worked as a deputy for many years. Prior to that time he was a carpenter and home builder. 
He was the husband of Beatrice (Green) Baugh. They were married on February 9, 1948 in Powderly, Texas 

Haskell is survived by his wife, Beatrice of the home, son, Eugene and Tracy Baugh of Talihina, Oklahoma; three daughters; Jane Baugh of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Connie and Jim Russell of Whitesboro, Oklahoma and Shelia and Ronald Pugh also of Whitesboro, Oklahoma, sister; Savella Sutton of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. 

Haskell was preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Nancy Baugh, 3 great-grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters. 

Pallbearers will be his grandsons. Services will be held at the Talihina Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, November 24, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carrol Fitzgerald officiating.

Interment will follow at the Whitesboro Cemetery Whitesboro, Oklahoma under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
