Virginia "Gin" Fox, 72, of Shady Point, died Sunday, March 11, 2001 in Tahlequah. She was born Feb. 5, 1929 to Richard and Viola (Lovell) Watts in Walls. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She married her husband of 52 years, Myrle "Sonny" Fox May 5, 1948 in Van Buren.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters and sons-in-law, Willam and Butch Morgan of Fort Gibson, Medenna and Michael Walton of Ardmore, Redenna and Randy Farrar of Shady Point; four sisters, Ina Fern Doyle of Sand Springs, Dollie Underwood of Spiro, Angella Faye Bryant of Dallas, and Mary Ann Mangrum of Tulsa; two brothers, Arnol V. Watts of Cameron and Jesse Ray
Watts of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Krystal and Randy Cox of Checotah, Deallen Walton of Ardmore, Miranda Barcheers of Shady Point, and Brett and Ryan Farrar of Shady Point; two great-grandchildren, Randy Wayne Cox and Rayne Cox, both of Checotah; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
