William Sanford Willingham Obit

Funeral services for William Sanford Willingham, 77, of Shady Point, Oklahoma, were held on November 26, 1979, at 10 a.m., at Evans Funeral Home Chapel in Poteau.
He was born September 15, 1902, in Copeland, Arkansas, to Brooks Toliver and Martha Louise (Jones) Willingham. In 1950, he married Grace Hill, and she survives at the home. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Latham Assembly of God Church. He died November 23, 1979.
Besides his wife, Grace, he is survived by five brothers: Lon and Virgil, Poteau; Leonard, Houston, Texas; Ernest, Oklahoma City; Burl, Maysville, Oklahoma.
Burial was at Shady Point Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home, Poteau.
