Ruby Elizabeth Edwards Allen

Ruby Elizabeth Edwards Allen, 83, formerly of Wister, died Dec. 2, 1999, in Greenwood.
Ruby was born Dec. 19, 1915, in Mena, Ark. She was a beauty operator in Wister for a number of years.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Sam Edwards and Ralph Edwards and one grandson, David Ware. She is survived by three daughters, Virginia Allen of Paris, Texas, Mary Pyles of Conroe, Texas and Linda Ware of Mansfield, Ark.; four grandchildren, Jeff Stanley of Oak Grove, Mo., Gina Pyles Stephens of Hartsville, N.C., Joni Pyles Fosdick of Conroe, Texas, and Amy Ware of Hackett, Ark.; four great-grandchildren, Jordan Stanley, Jacob Stanley, Zacharey Stephens and Michael Stephens; one brother, Robert Lee Edwards of McAlester; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Dec. 4,1999 at 2 p.m. at Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point. The Rev. Cecil Staton will be officiating.
