Matthew "Jim" Summers


PANAMA - Matthew "Jim" Summers, 62, of Panama died Monday, Feb. 21, 2000, at his home. He was a roofer and a member of Panama Freewill Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Shady Point Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; three daughters, Linda Foster and Cathy Bresee, both of Panama and Ann Bellinghausen of St. Joseph, Mo.; three sons, Rob Smith of Panama, Steve Smith of Galena, Kan., and Richard Watson of Spiro; one brother, Alfred of Joplin, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mark Bresee, Steve and Rob Smith, Rick Watson, Jeff Vest and Pete Richey.
The body may be viewed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.
The family will visit with friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
