Leonard Prock


Leonard David "L.D.:" Prock, 80, of Shady Point died Wednesday, March 13, 2002 in Shady Point. He was born September 22, 1921, in Williams, Oklahoma. He was owner of Prock Fence Company of Shady Point, a Navy veteran of World War 11, attaining the rank of petty officer 2nd class. He worked for American Forge for nine years and raised turkeys for Hatter Feed Mill for 10 years.
Funeral will be at 2 P.M. Saturday in Evans & Miller Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in poteau with burial at Shady Point Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; three daughters, Gloria Womack of Shady Point, Carolyn Anderson of Panama and Sandy Mason of Calhoun, Oklahoma; a son, Barry Prock of Garber, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mabel Coons of Sallisaw, Imojean Jones of Keota, and Ramona Prock of Roland; and a brother, Hershel Prock of Fort Smith.
Pallbearers will be Lenny Anderson, Dustin Prock, Justin Green, Tom Leedom, Jerrod Cloud, and Kenneth Howard.
