Golda B. Moore


Golda B. Moore, 88, of Panama, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2002, in Fort Smith. She was born Jan. 9, 1914 at McCurtain. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her father, John William Kerr; her mother, Christian Annie Kerr; two sisters, Willie Garrett and Opal Braden; one son, Jimmy Grant Moore; and two daughters, Amy Sue Jennen and Zelta Jean Sorrell.
Survivors include her husband Woodrow A. Moore of the home; four daughters, Patricia Bernice and husband Jerry J. Ammons of Panama, Melba Geneva and husband Ed Craig of Bay Point, Calif., and Rosa Lea and husband Charles Cottrill, all of Bay Point, Calif. and Regena Ann and husband Johnny Brown of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; two sisters, Ruby Pearl Woodard of Dallas, Texas and Jewel Duhan of Sulphur, La.; one brother, the Rev. Doyle M. Kerr of Sperry; and her life was enriched by 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 31 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau with the Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Point Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Pallbearers will be Ronald Eatmon, Ronald "Ollie" Eatmon II, Dixon Eugene Eatman, Dwayne Sweezy, Donald Jamison and Edward Northern.
