Curtis Spencer Solomon Obit

Curtis Spencer Solomon, 92, of Spiro died Saturday, March 3, 2001. He was born Sept. 7, 1908 in Rio Grande, Texas. He was a farmer.
Survivors include four daughters, Edna Hovey of Fanshawe, Dortha James of Cameron, Mildred Davis of Park Hill, Louise Jordan of Spiro; four sons, Curtis Solomon of Spiro, Harold Solomon of Cameron, E.J. Solomon of Spiro, Joe Solomon of Spiro; three sisters, Mildred Christopher, Velma Lee Smith, Charlene Gray, all of Tulsa; three brothers, Milard Solomon of Tulsa, Walter Solomon of Tulsa, J.C. Solomon of Tulsa; 38 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; 25 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; a host of beloved friends.
Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, March 5, at the 1st Assembly of God Church of Panama with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Burial was at Shady Point Cemetery under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
Pallbearers were Frankie Joe Solomon, Pete Solomon, Teddy Solomon, Chris McClour, Rocky Calhoun, and Joe Don Dunn.
