Roberta Marie Carpenter 74, of Tonkawa Oklahoma, formally from Talihina, OK passed away Tuesday June 28, 2016.

Roberta’s sense of humor could lighten the room and her since of fashion was never lacking. Roberta enjoyed being involved in her community, helping and caring for others as well as active in her church.  

Roberta was survived by her two Sisters Loretta Allen of Talihina, Judy Baggs of Valliant Ok, Brother Robert Wells of Houghton, Louisiana, grandchildren Jacob and Raven Benson and Great grandson of Paris, Texas, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Roberta was preceded in death by her son Gary Benson of Texas, Mother and Father Robert and Mozelle Wells of Talihina, Ok and Brother Anthony Wells of Talihina. 

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.  in the Old Talihina Cemetery, Talihina Ok.

The family has selected, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given directly to Talihina cemetery fund. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
