Mrs. Jessie Madge Blackwell, 82, of Moore. Oklahoma ,formerly of Talihina, passed away July 24, 2007, at the Moore Nursing home. she was better known as Madge Blackwell. 

Mrs. Blackwell was born in Talihina, Oklahoma on November 5, 1924, the daughter of the late William and Martha (Abernathy) Knight. 
She married William Golden Blackwell on September 19, 1940 Mr. and Mrs. Blackwell lived and worked in Talihina until 1997 when they moved to Moore, Oklahoma to be near their son.

Mrs. Blackwell is preceded in death by her daughter, Wilma Dean Blackwell Pearce, her son, Donald Blackwell and her husband William Golden Blackwell.

She is survived by two grandsons, Greg Blackwell and wife, Paula of Houston, Texas, and Bryan Pearce and wife Anita of Amarillo, Texas, two granddaughters; Kimberly Woods and husband,Randy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Keitha Robertson and husband Ryan of Krugerville, Texas, four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren., daughter-in-law, Molly Blackwell and a son-in-law; Eugene Pearce. 

Graveside services will be held at Old Talihina Cemetery, Talihina, Oklahoma. at 10 A.M. on Saturday, July 28th,Rev. Carroll Fitzgerald officiating. under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home, Talihina Oklahoma 918-567-4114
