Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 9, 1994, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Oklahoma, for Verlon J. Goff. Officiating were Reverend Jim Cook and Reverend Kenneth Williams. Mr. Goff, who was born on October 7, 1931, passed away on September 6, 1994.
He is survived by his wife, Ada Lou; three sons, Larry, Garry, and Carl Goff; one sister, Inez Slone; one brother, Verl Ray Goff; seven grandchildren, Jerry, Jeana, Lucy, Kirsten, Kira, Andrew, and Ada Goff.
Interment was in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma. Evans and Miller Funeral Homes of Poteau and Pocola, Oklahoma, were in charge of arrangements.
