Funeral services were held Friday, January 21, 1983, for Sallie Mae Arter. Reverend W. O. Hatley and Reverend Harrell Bates officiated at the 10:00 a.m. services at the Panama Assembly of God Church in Panama, Oklahoma.
Born December 10, 1913, Mrs. Arter passed away January 19, 1983.
Her survivors include her husband, one daughter, one son, two step-sons, one sister, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Interment was in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma
