Paul E. Rotz, longtime former Poteau resident now of Drumright, OK, passed away on Friday morning, February 3, 2006, in the Drumright Regional Hospital at the age of 73 years. He was born on September 16, 1932 in Chambersburg, PA. and was reared and educated in Chambersburg.
 
Paul was united in marriage to Nancy C. Coggins in October of 1960, and to this union, two daughters, Nancy & Lisa Dawn, were born.
 
He had worked as an accountant for Johnson Controls for over 25 years prior to his retirement in 1995.
 
He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church; was a veteran of the United States Army; he loved to watch Pittsburg Steeler football, the University of Oklahoma football and golfing.
 
Survivors include his wife of over 45 years, Nancy Rotz of Drumright, OK; two daughters Nancy Jackson and her husband Bill of Drumright, OK and Lisa Dawn Rotz of Atlanta, GA; one granddaughter Mattea Jackson; one sister Vada Rotz of Chambersburg, PA; one brother Raymond Rotz of Chambersburg, PA; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
 
Services will be held Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in the First Baptist Church, Poteau with Reverend Phil McGehee, Pastor, and Reverend Mike Murray of the Oak Grove Baptist Church of Drumright, officiating.
 
Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.
Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church, Poteau on Wednesday evening, February 8, 2006 and Thursday morning, February 9, 2006 prior to services.
 
Military services will be conducted at the Cemetery.
