Lela Piovesan

Lela Piovesan, 70, of Poteau died Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000, at a Fort Smith hospital. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Poteau, the Silver-Tips, the EOMC Hospital Auxiliary, Beta Sigma Phi and FCE. She was the widow of Bill Piovesan.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Free Will Baptist Church in Poteau, with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
She is survived by one daughter Vicki Dorey of Poteau; one son, William Piovesan Jr. of Pocola; two sisters, Patsy Beltrama of Stockton, Calif., and Donnie Cheely of Panama; a sister-in-law, Shirley Goforth of Poteau; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
