Jann Neff Ethen

Jann Neff Ethen was born Feb. 14, 1959 to Gerald and Elizabeth Neff. She went to Heaven to live with her Lord on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002 in the afternoon. Jann married Mark Ethen on June 17, 1989. To this union two children were born, Kathryne Elizabeth and Stephen Neff. Jann was baptised into Christ at the age of 11 and has faithfully served her Lord. She was an active member of the Antioch Christian Church, serving in numerous capacities. She was a consultant for the Pampered Chef and a member of the Earlywine School PTA.
Jann is survived by her husband Mark of the home and their children, Katie and Stephen; her parents of Poteau; two sisters, Lisa Leming and husband Curtis of Poteau and their children, Jake, Luke and Leah, and Christy Jones and husband Kenneth of Morris and their children, Sarah and Aaron; her grandmother, Chloia Farrington of Poteau; father-in-law, Fred Ethen of Roeland Park, Kan.; three sisters-in-law, Joan Camera and husband Dan and children Brad and Diana of Albuquerque, N.M., Mary Ethen of Austin, Texas, and Anne Ethen of Wichita, Kan.; beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and a large extended family of many, many friends. Jann was filled with love for each of us and in return she was dearly loved.
Services to celebrate her life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11 at Antioch Christian Church. There will be visitation Sunday evening and Monday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau and family will greet visitors on Monday from 10 a.m. to noon. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12 at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau. Arrangements are under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
A scholarship fund has been established for Katie and Stephen Ethen at Superior Federal Bank in Poteau.
