John "Greyson" Hunt, 16, of Poteau, passed away December 17, 2010, in Wister.

He was born June 17, 1994, in Duncan. He was a student.

He is survived by his mother and father, Kelly and Michael Hunt of Poteau; one brother, Clayton Hunt of the home; his paternal grandparents, Carolyn Baetz of Poteau and Johnny and Pat Hunt of Poteau; great grandmother, Ella Burden of Poteau; maternal grandparents, Freda and Shad Pyland of Muskogee; great grandmother, Opal Allison of Poteau; numerous other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, Poteau, with Rev. Roger Mattox officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers will be Zack Liles, Jacob Marvin, Jarrett Demory, Jesse Woodson, Marshall Jones, James Clinton, Fernando Guiterrez and Rob Smiljcic.

Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, is in charge of arrangements.
