POTEAU - Geneva M. Mills, 88, of Poteau died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, in Poteau. She was born Aug. 9, 1913, in Cameron, Okla., and was a retired teacher with 37 years of service. She was the widow of Carl Hooker and F.M. Mills.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Poteau.
She is survived by Nancy Meadows and David Slack, both of Fort Smith, Thelma Fields of Kansas City, Mo., Betty Jo Seaborn of Kansas City, Kan., Chester Garrett of Little Rock, Gary Brooks of Norman, Okla., and Helen Butler of Nacogdoches, Texas.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church in Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau officated by the Rev. Phil McGehee.
She is survived by cousins, Nancy Meadows and David Slack, both of Fort Smith, Thelma Fields of Kansas City, Mo., Betty Jo Seaborn of Kansas City, Kan., Chester Garrett and Cynthia Smith, both of Little Rock, Gary Brooks of Norman, Okla., Helen Butler of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Randy Garrett of Benton; numerous other relatives and loved ones and a host of beloved friends. Pallbearers will be Gary Gray, Gary Howell, Robert Stanley, Allen Daniels, Bert Corr and Jack Lynch.
