Peggy Ann (Taylor) Gilmore, 70, of Tahlequah, formerly of Panama, passed away Sept. 3, 2009, in Tulsa. She was born Sept. 20, 1938, in El Reno. She was a military wife and homemaker.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Lugrace and Ihab Shalabi of Tahlequah, Tresma and Bill Scullawi of Salina and Tarina and James Pace of Tulsa; a son, Ronald Lee Stephen Gilmore and partner Steve Buscemi of Los Angeles, Calif.; eight grandchildren, Ronald Parris, Cleoria Parris, Casandra Gilmore, Shelby Scullawi, William Scullawi, Billy Scullawi, Patrick Pace and Ariella Pace; six sisters, Ruby Mae Tupen of Sacramento, Calif., Beverly Dearman of Sand Springs, Janice Burton of Poway, Calif., Aline Taylor Linson and Mary Taylor, both of Panama, and Tressa Taylor Moore of Pocola; three brothers, Robert C. Taylor and Harry Taylor, both of Panama, and Charles Taylor of Pocola; numerous other relatives, friends and loved ones.

Funeral services were conducted Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with Mikal Parris officiating. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau. Pallbearers were Ihab Shalabi, Bill Scullawi, James Pace, Ronn Parris, Daniel Taylor and Steve Buscemi. Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, was in charge of arrangements.
