Dorothy Reece

Dorothy Reece, 79, of Poteau, passed away Friday, July 12, 2002. She was born March 5, 1923 in Purcell. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Reece; and one daughter, Beatrice Reece Bobo.
Survivors include two daughters, Pat Blocher of Modesto, Calif. and Jeanetta Ashland of Detroit Lakes, Minn.; six sons, Jim Reece and George Edward Reece, both of Poteau, Thomas Reece of Oakdale, Calif., David Reece of Riverbank, Calif., Henry Reece of Monroe, and Merle Reece of Bivins, Texas; two sisters, Imogene Reynolds of Moore and Roberta Mantooth of Purcell; a number of grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; other relatives and loved ones and a host of beloved friends.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 11 at the Oakland Cemetery Pavilion in Poteau with Scott Martin officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
