Charles Andrew Brown, = OAKLAND CEMETERY 66, of Poteau, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2002, in Henryetta. He was born Oct. 16, 1935 in Poteau.
He was a retired Oklahoma City Police Officer, retired CASC Campus Police; and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Carrie and Michael Moss of Poteau; two sons, Chuck Brown and Chad Brown, both of Poteau; his father-in-law, Leonard Gregg of Poteau; one brother-in-law, Phillip Gregg of Norman; one nephew, Bradley Gregg of Norman; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.
Services will be at 10 a.m. in the Sherman Floyd Fieldhouse in Poteau Thursday, March 7 with the Rev. Jimmy D. Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
Pallbearers will be Derrall Killion, Michael Taylor, Rodney Carter, Jeff Jensen, Clay Bennett and Wesley Odom.
