Allen Evens, 55, of Poteau died Friday, Sept. 20, 2002, at an area hospital.
He was an educator.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazerene in Poteau with burial at Oakland Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Jeanie; a daughter, Shannon Evans of Poteau; two sons, Sean Evans of Poteau; and Shane Evans of Orlando, Fla.; his mother Wylene Evans of Poteau; a sister, Shelby Walker of Poteau; and a brother, Dewayne Evans of Poteau.
The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Evans and Miller Funeral Home in Poteau.
