Shay Courtney Woods

Shay Courtney Woods, 17, of Spiro, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2002, in Fort Smith.
He was a junior at Spiro High School, and on the Spiro Bulldog baseball and football teams. He loved hunting, fishing and remote control cars.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and one sister, Amy Renee Woods.
Survivors include his parents, Jimmie and Cassie Woods of the home; and one brother, James Floyd Woods of Spiro.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at the First Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Brian Fouts and Robert Hill officiating. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
Pallbearers will be Paul Croft, Chris Bunch, Kyle Fowler, Wade Branscum, Billy Blair, and Rod Kimmell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Spiro baseball and football players.
