Dorothy May Smith, 80, of Spiro, died Friday, October 8, 1999, in Spiro. She was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church of Spiro and loved to sew.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Smith; her parents; and four brothers. She is survived by two sons, Charles Smith of Spiro and Aaron Smith of Edwardville, Kansas; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 11, at Mallory Chapel in Spiro with burial in New Hope Cemetery in Spiro. Pallbearers were Frank Davies, Harold Morris, Allen Tippitt, H. B. Hayes, Will Hastings, James Mize, Don Fisk, and Jerry Mann.
